Spider Talks
Our animal spirit guides often send us messages. So pay attention to any signals that they may be sending you. I received a message just this week from Spider. (Note that Spider is capitalized to indicate the Spirit Guide; lower case spider refers to an individual spider.)
I was sitting watching TV a couple of days ago and noticed a spider crawling on my arm. I brushed it away, thinking how odd that was– I almost never see a spider in my house. Being aware that the spider could be a sign from Spider, I looked up the meaning of Spider in a deck of oracle cards (Steven Farmer’s Messages from Your Spirit Guides Oracle Cards), and discovered that Spider is a sign of creativity, communication, and writing. This definitely held meaning for me as I have been working on a book, but haven’t done much lately.
The next night I was sitting at my computer, and kept opening the lid of the box of oracle cards. I normally don’t do anything like that while I am working, so I noted that it was a bit odd. The next day, however, it all came together. I found another spider crawling on my arm (not the same one as before—they looked quite a bit different). So… I went to the card deck and picked a card. Guess what it was? Yes. Spider. Ok—I finally got it! Work on the book…NOW!
It is said that if signs come in threes (in my case, 2 spiders and the Spider card), you should pay attention. So be aware of any signs that come your way over the next few days. You may be surprised what you discover.
